Responsibilities

•Assignments include work in heavily utilized recreation areas while coordinating volunteer assignments, historical information interpretation, public relations
•Acts independently to plan methods of work to accomplish normal work assignments, consulting with the supervisor and/or team lead on unusual or unprecedented situations
•Assist with recruiting and advertising volunteer positions based on jobs and duties identified by the Lake Manager
•Works with the volunteers of the volunteer program by assisting with training and building volunteer schedule for staffing of facility
•Tracks and reports all volunteer hours in Facility Equipment Management (FEM)
•Checks usage and conditions of public areas and facilities for sanitation, maintenance, safety, and fire hazards
•Monitoring visitor activity; Or 3.)
•Coordinating recreational services with community organizations; Or 4.)
•Enforcing Park rules and regulations
