In an Instagram post, she revealed that Leo’s death was attributed to the combined impact of various substances, which included fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine, and cocaine. The medical examiner concluded that Leo’s passing was accidental.

Expressing profound grief, Drena conveyed her immense sadness, describing Leo as her “precious, gentle angel” and declaring her eternal affection for him. She lamented her inability to continue life without him and resolved to honor his memory by sharing the same love and positivity that he brought into her world. Drena also strongly criticized those responsible for providing her son with fentanyl-contaminated pills, emphasizing the dangers associated with such potent substances.

Leo was found unconscious at 55 Wall Street on July 2nd, and despite efforts, he was declared deceased at the scene. He held aspirations of becoming a dedicated actor, aiming to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious grandfather, Robert De Niro.

The iconic actor released a statement in which he conveyed his sorrow regarding Leo’s passing and asked for space for his family to mourn.
